On July 25, 1996, the enterprise signed a purchase and sale contract with the FREEDOM Company to purchase 2 synchronous lines for the production of sports shoes.
In Decision No. 2087/QD-UB dated October 14, 1997, the People’s Committee of Phu Tho province allowed Viet Tri Leather and Footwear Export Enterprise to change its name to Vinh Phu Shoe Company. After more than a year of building and renovating the factory. Installed 2 production lines for sports shoes in January 1998, these two lines officially came into operation.
Implementing the State’s policy on reorganizing and renovating State-owned enterprises in Decision No. 2903/QD-CT dated September 9, 2003 approved by the Provincial People’s Committee, Vinh Phu Shoe Company is allowed to be a State-owned enterprise. The country was converted into Vinh Phu Shoe Joint Stock Company and kept its name to this day.
